Why Chadha Labs exists

Chetan Chadha, Founder

Where this comes from

I've spent about fifteen years in the auto parts business. I trained as a mechanical engineer, then spent my career on the commercial side of parts: manufacturing, distribution, ecommerce. I've watched the same problems show up in every one of those businesses. Fitment data that's wrong or missing. Catalogs that take months to clean. Retailer integrations that break on a Friday afternoon. Software that promises to handle all of it and ends up handling the easy 70%.

What changed

For the last few years I've been building software with AI agents every day. Not demos, real systems that run real operations: catalogs, fitment, marketplace feeds, EDI. What used to take a team months now ships in weeks, because the agents write, run and fix code while I decide what should be built and check that it's right.

That combination is rare. People who know the parts business usually can't build. People who can build usually don't know why a missing engine qualifier turns into a return three weeks later.

The rule

Everything we offer is built inside a real business first. It has to survive real orders, real retailer rules and real customers before it becomes a product. If it doesn't hold up there, it doesn't ship.

Chadha Labs is where those products live: eStore, Wholesale and WhiteLabelEDI today, with more in the lab. They're for automotive businesses that want the same tools, without spending years building them.

What we'd do again

  • Build inside a live business, with real orders, before calling anything a product.
  • Keep the person who knows the industry in the room when the software gets designed.

What we'd skip

  • Building for an imagined customer before the real one has used it.
  • Promising one system that does everything. Parts businesses are too different for that.
